Fifteen years ago, spurred on by longing for quiet nights, my wife and I came upon the idea of a completely new sleep solution. On the one hand, we wanted it to provide our newborn with the security of their own limited cot, on the other hand, it had to always allow physical contact without disturbing the sleep of mother and baby.

It was initially designed just for us, but the demand for our bed in our circle of friends alone soon became so great that we decided to further develop it ready for production together with the TÜV (an inspection and certification service ensuring high quality and safety). The original babybay® was born! babybay® has now delighted well over a million parents around the world. Unique is the patented stepless height adjustment, so there is neither gap nor step to the parent bed. Ingenious extensions make babybay® convertible and usable up to 7 years.
